CAMP FACILITIES: We have our own facility with classrooms and a 175 seat theatre in the Broward College campus. We have a classroom at the Galleria Mall. The students are rotated between theatre, movement, and craft activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mustard Seed Camp is offering tickets to fly “AIR TEEN MISSIONS” on the newly constructed (non-moveable) airplane. Enjoy “in flight” snacks and video presentations of Teen Missions ministries around the world. You will have your “passport” stamped for each country you “visit”. Train as a Flight Cadet for Jesus when you memorize Scripture, participate in Bible stories, run the Obstacle Course and work on crafts to earn your Wordless Book badges. At the end of the program, you will know how to share the plan of salvation with others. You will also earn the Mustard Seed Wings when you complete your training.
Teen Missions was founded in 1970 by a group of men and women who were passionate about getting youth involved in missions. The founder and director, Robert M. Bland, spent many years as a Youth For Christ director in Chillicothe, Ohio and recruitment director for the Christian Service Corps. The years he spent in ministry made him aware of several things that birthed the idea of Teen Missions:
There were many young people who wanted to serve the Lord in missions, but were not extremely talented and did not have the required skills.
A young girl once said that everyone had explained to her, “Come back when you have finished college and then you can get involved in the Lord’s work.” She stated, “I want to do something for the Lord now, not five years from now.”
In many mission conferences there were no teenagers present at all. They evidently felt that missions were for older people. Mr. Bland felt there was an obvious need to get teenagers involved since they are the next generation of missionaries and leaders.
The innovative idea of involving teenagers in missions continued to develop and that summer the first Teen Missions team embarked to the country of Mexico. Though it was a meager beginning, the program took off and now boasts of over 40 teams that travel to 30 some countries each year. The goal of Teen Missions is to awaken teenagers to the needs in missions, acquaint them with the reality of life on the mission field and give them an opportunity to serve the Lord through work projects and evangelism. Each team member is required to raise their own support to cover the cost of their summer team, which gives them practical experience in raising finances, similar to what other missionaries must do before they go overseas. The money the teens raise goes towards building costs, plane tickets, food and any other supplies needed for their time overseas.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Total involvement is Wednesday, June 22, 2016 – Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Either a parent/guardian or an adult approved by the parent/guardian, must accompany each Mustard Seed for the entire duration of the program. The adult will sleep in the same tent as the Mustard Seed participant. The adult’s expense is the $30 registration fee plus the $119 project expense.
Each Mustard Seed is provided with a food tray, bowl and international costume to use but not to keep. A sterling silver Mustard Seed ring, ID badge, cup, canteen and T-shirt are yours to take home.
Contributions Equal to: $119.00 U.S. plus $30 Registration Fee.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Exploring Vocal Arts with Echoing Air is an exciting 1 week summer program for students age 14 to 19 (advanced high school singers and undergraduate college students). The program explores the art of solo vocal performance focusing on chamber music of the Baroque and Renaissance periods. There are daily voice lessons, masterclasses and coachings with Echoing Air, an early music ensemble of harpsichord, recorders and viola da gamba. High School students will be coached on repertoire appropriate for district and state solo and ensemble competitions. College students will explore repertoire appropriate for a junior or senior recital.

As the premier day camp for campers with special needs in South Florida, we provide low staffing ratios (1:1 if needed) with highly credentialed and experienced staff so each child’s individual needs are met. We add new and innovative activities and field trips each year, and offer a myriad of inclusion opportunities on campus with the Levis JCC’s typical camp and off campus in community venues.
Activities are designed to enhance social, motor, language and other vital life skills that promote greater independence. Emphasis is placed on helping campers make new friends while having fun in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. Activities include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, science, sensory play, music, drumming, social skills immersion, money management
training, community based field trips and more.
We embrace campers with a wide range of disabilities, recognizing each child’s potential in all skill areas. Our goal is to provide a program that promotes each camper’s ability to achieve success.
We take great pride in providing a high level of supervision from professionals and trained volunteers. Staff returns year after year, providing campers with continuity in programming and expertise.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp at the J is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow in an informal and nurturing setting while developing skills that prepare them for future success. Our camp culture is built on universally accepted moral ideals as well as strong Jewish values. We incorporate respect, honor, good sportsmanship and teamwork into all that we do.
All staff members are thoroughly screened and trained to provide a safe, fun and memorable summer. A registered nurse is on the premises to provide care and medical attention if needed.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: Entering 10th Grade
Under direct supervision, teens will develop leadership skills through a hands-on experience engaging with campers, training from local professionals, and social programming to aid in networking with other Madatzim. The goals of this program are to prepare for teens for future work experiences, provide teens with training and skills to become effective leaders and role models, improve self-confidence, assist children in camp groups, and excel at handling responsibility resulting in a fun and productive summer. Theater CIT Program: Age 16
Talented teens explore their creative side and also go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots.

CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.
The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!
Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

A camp is only as strong as its leadership. Camp Indian Springs is committed to providing skilled leadership. Indian Springs counselors are great role models who are focused on the needs of campers, both in the cabins and in classes. What makes Camp Indian Springs stand out above the rest is our 90% staff return rate. Unlike most other summer camps you will not find a staff search on our web site or a Craigslist ad seeking staff. This is due to our extensive C.I.T. (Counselor-In-Training) program and high staff retention rate. Growing a staff within creates a competitive and safe environment to select the best of the best. More than half the staff have been at camp five years or more. All counselors are carefully selected for their camp skills and must possess superb references. All staff must go through an intensive one week staff training which includes effective cabin leadership, teaching skills, emergency procedures, CPR, first aide and a parent to counselor open forum.
High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.
C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We are open year round for group retreats, family camps, family reunions, and any other event possible.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are open year-round for a tremendous and unforgettable experience for the whole family, school, sports team, or any other group! We have hosted countless retreat groups and they have all had incredibly memorable experiences. We have hosted family camps, family reunions, religious groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, fraternities, sororities, etc.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Assembled for their talent, teaching ability, dedication, and enthusiasm for music, distinguished music professionals participate in HAPCO Jazz Band Camps. They include university professors, middle school and high school teachers, master, elective and lesson teachers, administrators, and undergraduate and graduate students who serve as counselors and mentors. Together, their knowledge and experience support an extraordinary educational opportunity where campers build confidence and develop good habits and attitudes that shape their future.
When the rehearsal are over, Overnight Campers will be able to take a break from their instrument while they explore Disney Parks, and participate in other fun activities with their fellow campers. While at camp, students will be supervised by our staff of Resident Camp Counselors. Meals are also taken care of (lunch for Day Campers and breakfast, lunch and dinner for our Overnight Campers).
At the end of the camp, students will perform in a concert at the Walt Disney World Resort Pleasure Island Downtown Disney on June 23rd, 2017.
This camp is for students who are currently in the 6th through 11th grade band and will be going into 7th through 12th grade the following school year and have played their instrument for at least one year.
HAPCO Jazz Band Camps (with Lead Instructors WyCliffe Gordon, Jeff Rupert, Scott Wilson, and Dr Otto Gomez) are designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the less experienced to the most talented, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills as well as their ensemble playing ability.
Campers choose to fill their days with full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, combo workshops, as well as theory, jazz history and improvisation training. The camp provides musicians with the foremost professionals in the music industry. Assembled for their talent, teaching ability, dedication, and enthusiasm for music, distinguished music professionals participate in HAPCO Jazz Band Camps. They include university professors, middle school and high school teachers, master, elective and lesson teachers, administrators, and undergraduate and graduate students who serve as counselors and mentors. Together, their knowledge and experience support an extraordinary educational opportunity where campers build confidence and develop good habits and attitudes that shape their future.
When the rehearsals are over, Overnight Campers will be able to take a break from their instrument while they explore Disney Parks, and participate in other fun activities with their fellow campers. While at camp, students will be supervised by our staff of Resident Camp Counselors. Meals are also taken care of (lunch for Day Campers and breakfast, lunch and dinner for our Overnight Campers).
At the end of the camp, students will perform in a concert at the Walt Disney World Resort Disney Springs.
This camp is for students who are currently in the 6th through 11th grade band and will be going into 7th through 12th grade the following school year and have played their instrument for at least one year.
