OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. The winning team will receive a donation on its behalf from Project Endeavor to the selected organization.

CAMP FACILITIES: We rent two main spaces for camp and the students rotate between the spaces during the day rehearsing with the directors, choreographers & music directors, completing fun camp activities, and attending special workshops. Performances take place at Bailey Concert Hall at Broward College Central Campus in Davie, FL.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers work with professional instructors in acting, music, dance, and design to mount a full scale production at the end of each four-week session. Session I productions are Honk, Jr. & Snow White; Session II productions are Pirates of Penzance & The Magical Land of Oz. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Nageela offers campers ages 5-13 an extraordinary 6-week experience of fun and character growth. Camp Nageela is dedicated to providing your child with a safe and exciting camp program that integrates Jewish values and traditions into daily camp life.

The Camp Nageela experience is comprised of a wealth of activities and specialty programming. Arts & crafts, swimming, basketball, baseball soccer, track & field, and superb field trips are some of the regular activities to go along with those "special days" sprinkled throughout the summer. CAMP FACILITIES: All Lovewell activities and performances take place in the Don Taft University Center on the NSU campus in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This facility features state-of-the-art theater and music equipment, as well as a plethora of food and beverage options for students to enjoy during their meal breaks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts has been hosting musical theatre writing workshops for young artists all over the globe for the last 30+ years. All Lovewell programs are staffed by fully-trained professional artists, and every collaborative work of musical theatre that is created is truly one-of-a-kind. At Lovewell, students are given the opportunity to create a new work of theatre from scratch, all the while exploring different avenues of the arts that they may have not been exposed to previously. Lovewell aims to embody collaboration, creativity, and community, and we are thrilled to be able to offer our workshops to the amazingly gifted young artists residing in Broward County.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 2 large modern rooms, outdoor rec area and an awesome stage area for many different opportunities for dance, musical and acting training.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our out of town campers are personally picked up at the Miami International Airport and brought to our camp. (about 20 minutes away) They stay in the college dorms with our awesome counselors - providing a total camp experience. Day campers enjoy a daily hot lunch in the UM cafeteria. Each camp concludes with a Final Concert, where every student performs in one of UM's fine concert halls.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Assembled for their talent, teaching ability, dedication, and enthusiasm for music, distinguished music professionals participate in HAPCO Jazz Band Camps. They include university professors, middle school and high school teachers, master, elective and lesson teachers, administrators, and undergraduate and graduate students who serve as counselors and mentors. Together, their knowledge and experience support an extraordinary educational opportunity where campers build confidence and develop good habits and attitudes that shape their future.

When the rehearsal are over, Overnight Campers will be able to take a break from their instrument while they explore Disney Parks, and participate in other fun activities with their fellow campers. While at camp, students will be supervised by our staff of Resident Camp Counselors. Meals are also taken care of (lunch for Day Campers and breakfast, lunch and dinner for our Overnight Campers).

At the end of the camp, students will perform in a concert at the Walt Disney World Resort Pleasure Island Downtown Disney on June 23rd, 2017.

This camp is for students who are currently in the 6th through 11th grade band and will be going into 7th through 12th grade the following school year and have played their instrument for at least one year.

HAPCO Jazz Band Camps (with Lead Instructors WyCliffe Gordon, Jeff Rupert, Scott Wilson, and Dr Otto Gomez) are designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the less experienced to the most talented, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills as well as their ensemble playing ability.

Campers choose to fill their days with full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, combo workshops, as well as theory, jazz history and improvisation training. The camp provides musicians with the foremost professionals in the music industry. CAMP FACILITIES: Rock n' Roll Summer Camp consists of 3 rehearsal rooms for lessons, praticing technique, and band practice. We also have a 3,000 sq. ft. room with a fully equipped live sound stage.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Rock n' Roll Summer Camp helps musicians or non-musicians who are starting out make that dream become a reality. We put together like-minded people at the same levels of experience, provide great music for them to play, and match them with a seasoned professional musician and teacher who helps them practice their set for a live performance.

It all culminates with a PERFORMANCE, where your child takes center stage to live out their musical dreams in front of family and friends. Performances will be held weekly during all Summer Camp sessions on Fridays! The performances will take place on a HUGE stage with a phenomenal intelligent lighting system, fog machines and huge sound system for your kids to JAM out on and to perform the songs they have learned.

Rock n' Roll Summer Camp students learn music by making music. They start playing on the first day of the session and improve daily as individual musicians and as a band. Each musician has an opportunity to expand his or her musical potential while having fun playing with other musicians.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: Entering 10th Grade

Under direct supervision, teens will develop leadership skills through a hands-on experience engaging with campers, training from local professionals, and social programming to aid in networking with other Madatzim. The goals of this program are to prepare for teens for future work experiences, provide teens with training and skills to become effective leaders and role models, improve self-confidence, assist children in camp groups, and excel at handling responsibility resulting in a fun and productive summer. Theater CIT Program: Age 16
Talented teens explore their creative side and also go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots.

Manhigim: Grades 7-9
Tailor-made for adventurous, independent teens craving fun and friendship-filled summers. Campers hit the road every week to experience favorites like waterskiing, Rapids and state-of-the-art entertainment parks,
plus new and exciting ones we introduce every summer, in Florida and beyond. Campers also enjoy overnight and day trips to exciting attractions and on campus activities including sports, art, swim, trapeze, archery and more.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in a fully furnished and comfortable lodge which has been upgraded for wheelchair accessibility, with separate accommodations in the same building for male and female campers. Staff remains onsite throughout the camp. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier overlooks the river, and a wheelchair accessible golf cart is available to transport campers to and from activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mustard Seed Camp is offering tickets to fly “AIR TEEN MISSIONS” on the newly constructed (non-moveable) airplane. Enjoy “in flight” snacks and video presentations of Teen Missions ministries around the world. You will have your “passport” stamped for each country you “visit”. Train as a Flight Cadet for Jesus when you memorize Scripture, participate in Bible stories, run the Obstacle Course and work on crafts to earn your Wordless Book badges. At the end of the program, you will know how to share the plan of salvation with others. You will also earn the Mustard Seed Wings when you complete your training.

Teen Missions was founded in 1970 by a group of men and women who were passionate about getting youth involved in missions. The founder and director, Robert M. Bland, spent many years as a Youth For Christ director in Chillicothe, Ohio and recruitment director for the Christian Service Corps. The years he spent in ministry made him aware of several things that birthed the idea of Teen Missions:

There were many young people who wanted to serve the Lord in missions, but were not extremely talented and did not have the required skills.

A young girl once said that everyone had explained to her, “Come back when you have finished college and then you can get involved in the Lord’s work.” She stated, “I want to do something for the Lord now, not five years from now.”
In many mission conferences there were no teenagers present at all. They evidently felt that missions were for older people. Mr. Bland felt there was an obvious need to get teenagers involved since they are the next generation of missionaries and leaders.

The innovative idea of involving teenagers in missions continued to develop and that summer the first Teen Missions team embarked to the country of Mexico. Though it was a meager beginning, the program took off and now boasts of over 40 teams that travel to 30 some countries each year. The goal of Teen Missions is to awaken teenagers to the needs in missions, acquaint them with the reality of life on the mission field and give them an opportunity to serve the Lord through work projects and evangelism. Each team member is required to raise their own support to cover the cost of their summer team, which gives them practical experience in raising finances, similar to what other missionaries must do before they go overseas. The money the teens raise goes towards building costs, plane tickets, food and any other supplies needed for their time overseas.

Total involvement is Wednesday, June 22, 2016 – Saturday, June 25, 2016.

Either a parent/guardian or an adult approved by the parent/guardian, must accompany each Mustard Seed for the entire duration of the program. The adult will sleep in the same tent as the Mustard Seed participant. The adult’s expense is the $30 registration fee plus the $119 project expense.

Each Mustard Seed is provided with a food tray, bowl and international costume to use but not to keep. A sterling silver Mustard Seed ring, ID badge, cup, canteen and T-shirt are yours to take home.

The true value of resident camp runs much deep. All camp activities are designed to help the girls develop strong relationships (Friends), build confidence through personal growth (Mad Skills!), while - of course - enjoying the whole camp experience (Fun).

Campers have a lot of great choices at Camp Kateri, including two levels of Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs and 6 different weekly themes.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Do you love working with kids? Like to be outdoors? If so, then Girl Scouts Camp Kateri offers the BEST JOBS ON THE PLANET!

Located about 45 minutes southeast of Gainesville, we're looking for staff to work with children in fun activities like canoeing, kayaking, crafts, archery, dance, teambuilding, STEM, outdoor skills, etc.

We also need a Lifeguards, Cooks, Kitchen Aides, a Business Manager, and a whole myriad of other groovy roles (we still say groovy, right?). If you like kids, we probably have a spot that's perfect for you.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our cabins are all climate controlled and modernized. We have a junior Olympic sized pool, three lakes, ropes course and rock wall, acres of play space, multiple archery ranges, our beautiful dining hall and pavilion, art center, and so much more.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Wewa prides itself on two things...fun and safety. We encourage all campers to leave the cell phones and the video games home, you won't be needing them here at camp. Your day will be filled from wake up to lights out with fun activities throughout the day and evening. Our staff are all mature, well trained leaders that are here because they love camp. Each staff member participates in a through background check and staff training process before campers arrive, and many of our staff are in fact returning Wewa alumni. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are currently hiring in all areas for the summer of 2022.  Positions include general counselors, Arts & Crafts, Lifeguards, Sports Specialists, Kitchen Staff, Dance, Nature.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 6 cabins that sleep 16, lodge and dining hall plus pool and recreational activities. See website for photos

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Broadway®, presented by the FSCJ Artist Series, returns to Jacksonville for its 14th year from Monday, June 16 – Friday, June 20, 2014 from 8:30AM – 5:00PM at the Wilson Center for the Arts! Camp Broadway® introduces young people aged 10 to 17 to the world of Broadway on-stage and behind the scenes. Campers work with Broadway directors, choreographers and musical directors to receive training in acting, scene study, improvisation, music theory, solo and ensemble singing, movement, and dance.

This five-day performing arts program offers each camper the opportunity to expand his or her creative talents, build self-esteem, learn the art of collaboration, and gain a fuller respect and understanding of musical theatre. No singing, dancing, or acting experience necessary - just a willingness to have fun and a curiosity about what happens on stage and behind the curtain!
