CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp site includes a sports court, sports field, pool, playground equipment, classrooms, shaded assembly area, covered lunch areas, restrooms, and plenty of trees and shade.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With over 30 years of experience, the Phoenix Ranch prides itself in presenting an outstanding summer camp program that reflects our commitment to excellent supervision and quality programming.

We are accredited by the American Camp Association, a national accrediting agency that supports high quality standards for site, supervision, and programming. Our campus is very safe with a trained security guard on campus at all times, and CCTV monitoring. The Phoenix Ranch Staff (18 years of age or older) will undergo over 30 hours of pre-camp and in-service training. All staff has additionally been background checked and fingerprinted and trained in basic first aid.

Our philosophy is camp should be a place where children will not just learn new skills, but make friends, grow in confidence, try new things, enjoy playing in the outdoors, and just have FUN!

This Los Angeles Acting School’s philosophy is that artists can draw upon all different acting techniques and form a toolbox of their own, their very own Golden Box. Michelle Danner’s Los Angeles acting school specializes in the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg’s Method, Stella Adler, Stanislavski’s System, and the Chekhov technique.

Michelle Danner is the founder and artistic director of The Edgemar Center for the Arts and is a renowned actor, director, and award-winning acting coach.

As an acting coach, Michelle has worked with A List talent privately and on set, including Salma Hayek, James Franco, Gerard Butler, Chris Rock, Seth MacFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Michael Pena, Isla Fisher, Common, and Zooey Deschanel.

At Earth Path Education we encourage the experience of being at home in nature and within oneself. We empower girls, boys, young women and men, adults and elders to claim the path to earth connection that is within each of us. We begin to see how bio-mimicry, being like the stream, being like the deer, can help us to live harmoniously, reducing stress and enhancing the ease of our existence. Through learning Earth skills, nature awareness, and ancestral wisdom we remember our place in an interconnected web; we remember who we are.

When we commune with our unity; we naturally develop compassionate communication skills with all beings. These skills aid us throughout life by allowing us to feel how our thoughts, words, and actions affect the whole of our community, the whole of life. Our Approach
Nature Awareness:
Through focusing on nature awareness we encourage our students to experience what is happening around them, awakening curiosity and inspiration. When students are empowered to root in processes like making fire, foraging wild foods, making rope, and learning bird songs; they begin to feel capable of relaxing and deepening in the wilderness. We believe that learning skills of how to source our human lives from the abundant life around us grows respect; respect for the plants that heal our wounds, the sticks that give us warmth, and the creek that cools us. We develop a deepening gratitude to the elements that offer us life.

Regenerative Presence:
We use a variety of tools to inspire a regenerative presence on the planet. At Earth Path Education, we believe that the concept of regeneration is the key to a harmonious future here on Earth. We believe that as humans we can do more than not harm, we can actually feed all of creation with our beauty, our rituals, our songs, and our deep listening.

Village Building:
We hold necessary the role of the village in our Wilderness Rites of Passage ceremonies. It is the village that sends the initaites into their journeys, and the village that catches the initaites and witnesses the transformations. The rites of passage is also a key part to the health of the village, pumping all members with health, inspirations and vitality, bringing to the village the vision seeds that are to sprout us into a more harmonious way of relating.

Ceremonial Arts:
At Earth Path Education we are committed to the beauty way. We make earth offerings, and leave equsitie altars in the forest. We sings and dance, at each spring, we feed the fire with our stories and we compost our grief and our burdens, so that life can grow corn with it to feed the people. We pray for our lives, we pray for the earth. Our dreams bring us messages, and as we tune into our rhythms, and synch up with the rythms of the land. The earth starts to dream up through us, clarifying our purpose, calling us forward, and illuminating our gifts. Our ceremonies are an art of listening, to that wisdom which has been held in the earth and is just waiting to be danced up through us.

Permaculture:
Permaculture creates systems that provide for Human needs and the Earth’ s needs through mutually beneficial relationships. The health of our human community is linked to our local bioregion, which in turn is linked to the wellbeing of all ecosystems. We instill the ethics of Elemental Linking and Holistic Thinking. As every element becomes an integral part of the whole system, the whole community becomes more dynamic, harmonious, and energy efficient. These enhanced relationships reduce maintenance and stress, while increasing yields and happiness. These permaculture principles apply to our ecological relationship and our social relationships.

Play:
We instill the idea that work and play can be one in the same. We inspire youth and adults to follow the things that they are truly passionate about. We help guide each other to feel confident in achieving our dreams, and manifesting a life that we are happy to be living each day. We believe that the most harmonious accomplishments come from a people who love what they were doing, feeling that their calling, is a place where ones passion is meeting the thrist of the world and bringing sweet water to the driest of places. We support our participants in finding this inspiration, passion, and motivation within themselves and taking action on their calling.

We learn about who we are and how we want to show up for our communities, this earth and our lives.

We learn about how to care for our amazing bodies, and discuss how to maintain a positive body-image. We learn about the traditional Moon Lodge, a sacred space established to honor a woman’s moontime. Through implementing these ceremonial practices, we learn how we can create space to deeply explore the blessings of being a woman.

We experience ourselves through ceremony and through play! We learn ancestral crafts, games, stories, and songs as we root into our bio-region! As we camp and hike our amazing landscapes, we explore the ways in which we can sustain ourselves through our understanding of the natural world. We learn a variety of earth skills including how to make fire, wild edibles, permaculture, plant medicines, and much more.

We call upon elders in our community to share their wisdom; we bring in strong role models to teach a variety of skills, crafts, and classes. Together we form a web that nourishes the fertile soil that feeds our growth and expansion throughout life. This quest is a powerful and fun-filled experience for all, helping to create the beautiful, heart-centered women of our future!

Kimble’s enthusiasm for music led to a professional career in music as a performing artist and music educator. Kimble has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Music Education from Jackson State University. He also has a Master of Education Degree in School Counseling and serves as a board member of the Mississippi Musicians’ Hall of Fame. He has served as the facilitator for classes that focused on learning problem solving skills as a tool for 6th graders which helps them see the value in goal setting, learning social skill sets and to focus on behavior management using music therapy, mindfulness, and relaxation methods

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Music Technology Mentors Innovative Music Technology Afterschool Enrichment Program, you’ll focus on the creative, often experimental, blending of music and technology. You’ll do much more than learn how to record music. You’ll also learn how to compose, synthesize, and perform music; score for film, games, and other multimedia; and develop software and multimedia. Topics of study include music theory and history, acoustics, recording technology, computer composition, electronic music synthesis, technology-based performance, 3-D sound and spatial audio, and music business and law.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Music Technology Mentors Innovative Music Technology Afterschool Enrichment Program is a mentorship and relationship structure that provides leadership, support, career guidance, role modeling, and communication that occurs in the mentoring relationship with students. CAMP FACILITIES: Skylake's secret to success is its small cabin groups. "Boys' camp" and "Girl's Camp" each with their own 16 rustic cabins is where the Skylake spirit is born. The 6500 square foot lodge, dining hall and lakeside porch is a center of activity. Tennis courts, sand volleyball, climbing wall, campfire circle, private docks on Bass Lake all provide a complete camp experience.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Skylake operates a Family Camp for a number of weeks prior to the children' camp sessions and again in the fall after children' camp concludes.

This accreditation from the most well-respected national camp organization confirms what we have known and committed ourselves to for years - that our programs and activities meet high standards for quality and safety.

The cost of each camp session (2 weeks) is $500 for grades K-6. The cost for one week only is $300. We offer children attending all four weeks a $100 discount, reducing the total cost to $900, and a second child/sibling discount of $50 per session.

The tuition includes all camp field trips, a camp T-shirt and two snacks per day. There is an additional fee of $150 per two-week session for our 7th and 8th grade Habonim campers, to cover the cost of special activities (like surfing and scuba diving). The full tuition for each session must be paid before the first day of that session.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CLASS - HIP HOP - URBAN DANCE CAMP - 5-9 YRS -TUE. 4:30-5:15 PM 7/14-8/4 - Explore different styles of hip-hop, funk, and pop. Learn latest dance trends and old school moves. Practice grooving with current artists and legends to develop musicality. Includes conditioning to improve strength and to get the heart rate going.

CLASS - Rec Ballet 1 - Mon. & Wed. 4:30-5:15 4-7 yrs. 7/13-8/5 -
This beginning level ballet class will be taught in a traditional and fun manner. Children will learn the fundamentals of ballet. They will incorporate the barre and center floor combinations as well as stretching and building body strength. CLASS - Rec. Groov 3 Adults Tues. 7:00-8:00 PM 7/14-8/4 - GROOV3 is the latest blood-pulsing, beat-dropping, bass-pumping dance class from LA. We're fitness out-of-the-box — where you DANCE, SWEAT, & LIVE far beyond your workout. Our mission is to inspire change and build a global community through the power of dance, supporting the idea that dance should be accessible to all.

CLASS - Rec Floor Gym 7-12yrs. Thurs 5:15-6:00 PM 7/16-8/6 - This class is for both beginners and advanced beginners. Students will be taught rolls, cartwheels, handstands, round-offs, and backbends as they progress in each skill.

CLASS - Rec Gymsters 3.5 - 7 yrs. Thurs. 4:30-5:15 pm - 7/16-8/6 - Participants begin to develop coordination and body awareness in this class. Emphasis is on learning in a fun and challenging environment. Balance beam and tumbling skills will be introduced.

Dance Campers = Students will spend their week long camp full of song, dance and crafts! Campers will learn dances, songs, and create props based on a summer dance theme. Campers will be introduced to the basics of Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater and Ballet through this exciting dance experience! End of camp performance on Friday. Tap and Ballet Combo Level 1 - This fun and exciting class teaches the fundamentals of both Tap and Ballet. This class is specifically designed for young dancers and will include basic dance steps and routines. The class is structured to allow young dancers to explore and appreciate the world of dance. Proper dance attire (Tap and ballet shoes) are encouraged. This twice a week session greatly enhances the learning experience and serves as a good introduction to the preschool environment. A special performance will be held at the end of each session.

Stage Kids WA develops and nurtures young people's potential through classes, workshops and performances. Our professional staff encourages creativity and delivers quality performing arts training for both the beginner and the experienced performer. Fun is had by all as we emphasize life skills such as responsibility, confidence, teamwork and creating new friendships.

Stage Kids CA was recently honored as "Best family-friendly musical" for their holiday production of "Bah Humbug".

Often, the success of a show is determined by the number of tickets sold or the overall presentation. To us, the process is just as important (if not MORE important!) than the performance, so we focus on challenging and growing the children. After all, that's what makes a better show...theater skills are really life skills!

Supervision is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. When students are not in class with our world-class faculty, they are supervised by members of our trained AMDA staff.

Students leave campus only for planned and chaperoned outings, which may include going to a Broadway show or visiting NYC and LA tourist destinations.

CAMP FACILITIES: Rising Star is all about musical theatre. Each group (we have 2 age groups) does a production.

This Summer Little Stars, 5 - 7 year olds, will do The Music Man Revue.

Rising Stars, the 8 - 16 year olds, will do The Sound of Music, a full production.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers arrive at 9 AM the younger group stays until 1 and the older group stays until 3. We spend our time singing, learning songs, learning dances, working on lines and blocking, working on acting, and creating a special show for the end of our Camp session. Every camper has a chance to show their special talent.

CAMP FACILITIES: Beautiful and recently renovated Black Box Theater. It has a stage and comfortable back stage. All of our props and backgrounds are designed and created by hand. Elevated seating that can fit up to 90 people. There is a ticket booth and a functioning restroom. Different types of lighting: black light, fluorescent, stage lighting, rope lighting, and a disco ball. A working sound board, music, and up-to-date stereo system. We utilize different media options as well.
A few buildings away is our main office, where rehearsals may sometimes be held. It has 3 spacious rehearsal rooms, each with a baby grand piano.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A sleeping princess, a spellbound Prince and more fairies than you can shake a stick at are all part of this quirky adaptation of the popular tale. The evil Trollarina exacts her revenge on the royal family by sending the beautiful Princess Melisande into an everlasting sleep, but little does she realize more than one spell is about to be broken by the kiss of an enchanted Faun.

Performance for family and friends at the end of the camp.

We do not skip out on costumes! Every participant will be outfitted in a role and age appropriate costumes for the performance. The actors and actress will also interact with carefully designed and created props.

Students will be learning stage position, projection of their voice, blocking, how to interpret a scrip, read music, sing in a group, and dancing. Since the plays we do are musicals, the actors and actresses will learn the basics of singing. It includes, reading music, matching pitch, group and possibly solo singing, tempo, and rhythms. Our choreographer will teach dance positions, dance moves, rhythm, counting, and tempo. Every lesson is created with the children's skill level and abilities in mind and we always encourage them and help them strive for their best.

The camp is a four week program running Monday through Friday, 9AM to Noon, beginning June 17th and going through July 12th. The camp location is at the Studio C Theater in Livermore, at 51-C Wright Brothers Avenue. The performances will be on Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14.

CAMP FACILITIES: River Way Ranch Camp operates as a resort 9 months out of the year when camp is not in session. Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins, and sleep 8 to a room, with two counselors. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: LVCC MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP was born of a passion for helping children discover confidence and learn life skills in the process of creating Musical Theatre. We know that many valuable life skills can be developed in the process of creating ART, especially when the creation process takes place with collaboration.

LVCCMTW is a place where the individual is nurtured, cared about and supported. We believe in positivity and unique expression. We have a "zero-tolerance" policy on negativity. This camp is a place where loving, encouraging, creativity takes place and character building elements are valued and taught. We believe that we are helping to "BUILD BETTER HUMANS THROUGH MUSICAL THEATRE" by focusing on collaboration, acceptance,creativity, respect, friendship, and individual expression. We build these elements into everything we do.

During each one-week session, 120 Campers are divided, by age, into seven groups: Preschool - High School.
Each group spends the week from 9-3 each day attending sessions in ACTING, DANCE, MUSIC, STAGECRAFT and THEATRE ARTS,creating a unique, original Musical Theatre Production for performance at the Friday Night Showcase.

Each age group is joined by trained, experienced, caring counselors who accompany them throughout their day. We believe in personal attention to each camper, therefore we keep our camper to counselor ratio very small. In our preschool 1/2 day program, our ratio is 3 campers to one counselor. This ratio increases only slightly with each age group. Our maximum ratio is in the 9th-10th grade Leadership Training program, where the ratio is only 6:1. We believe that adhering strictly to this ratio allows each camper maximum support for their individual creative expression and gives our staff an opportunity to relate to every camper individually.

Our caring instructors are skilled, educated, and experienced in their craft and have a passion for helping kids discover their skills, talents and self confidence in each of the respective elements of Musical Theatre creation.

Stagecraft: Campers will make (or assist in making) their own sets, props and costumes, using age-level based artistic expression, creative and technical skills.

Dance: Campers will be taught a dance and will learn dance terms and basic dance moves. They will learn or improve their ability to be comfortable with dance and with moving their bodies.

Acting: campers will learn and rehearse their scene for the showcase. As age/ability increases, campers also participate in writing their own lines, some of the scene, or the whole scene.

Music: campers learn the song for their performance. They will focus on basic musical terms and concepts. As age/ability increases, campers participate in solo and small group singing, understanding and performing harmony and lyric writing/music composition skills.

Theatre Arts: Campers gain understanding of the concepts and ideas needed to fully comprehend their scene/character for the performance showcase. As age/ability increases, campers participate in character development, exploration of personal strengths/goals, collaborative creation process.

Preschool/Kinder students attend a 1/2 day camp where some of these classes are combined. All other campers attend full day camp.

9th/10th grade campers also attend child development class and leadership training and function as an instructor assistant for some of the day as part of our Leadership Training Certification Program.

All of our staff are highly trained in positive interaction skills and have a passion for children and for the arts.

Avodah is a multifaceted, service-based program in which campers play an integral role in camp’s day-to-day operations. Avodahniks develop a strong work ethic and serve as Jewish role models at camp. Beyond daily activities, campers work diligently on a significant camp improvement project and march as a team in both the annual Pride Parade and AIDS Walk in San Francisco.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: California Theatre Center's Core Conservatory is a full-day theatre experience for students with or without prior theatre training. Students work hands-on with CTC's professional teaching artists in acting, movement and voice classes. All students are cast in a play that is performed for the public on the final two days. In this process-based Conservatory, the students also design and build all props, sets, costumes, tickets and programs as they engage in and learn about every aspect of live theatre. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This is the 54th annual camp. The Hayward La-Honda Music Camp is organized to challenge students in a variety of creative pursuits and is devoted to the development of musicianship for students grades 6-12. The camp mission is to inspire young people to achieve their best musically, to enjoy a great social/recreational experience and take home memories that will last a lifetime. OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. The winning team will receive a donation on its behalf from Project Endeavor to the selected organization.

CAMP FACILITIES: MODERN FACILITY: Broadway Gymnastic School is a stateof-the-art gymnastics and children’s fitness facility offering all equipment used in the Olympics as well as trampolines, mini tramp, tumble trak, creative obstacle courses and the zip-line (a favorite among our campers). We also have an activity room, lunch room, arts & crafts room, dance studio and free wi-fi.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our spectacular gymnastics and sports camp incorporates exercise and education into a fun-filled day program. Gymnastics is paired with a variety of sports, arts, drama, field trips, and an exciting array of activities captivates all ages until the camper goes home at 12:30 or 3pm. Before and after care is available and can be arranged at registration.

ACTIVITIES/TRIPS: Gymnastics is the foundation of our 2015 fitness day camp activities. Ball sports, swimming, arts and crafts, drama, music and dance round out the curriculum. We are also known for our educational field trips: Kid Concepts, Whale Watching, Sky Zone, Aquarium of the Pacific, California Science Center and Adventureplex.

Dance, music, art and science activities are scheduled throughout the summer. Campers get the chance to try new activities, discover new talents and gain confidence in themselves. Other special themed days include Bring- A-Friend Day, Karaoke, bounce houses, zip-lining, plus Water Days filled with water balloon activities and swimming adventures. At the end of each week BGS will host a Friday Night Traffic Jam Party from 3-3:30pm!

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS: Your child’s day will begin with gymnastics. Our training emphasizes the educational as well as the physical benefits of gymnastics such as concentration, self-discipline, psychological and emotional development, social adjustment and artistic expression. Positive feedback is constantly given so the camper not only develops good physical functioning of the body, but also gains self-confidence, self-respect, grace and poise. A customized curriculum has been designed for campers with special needs.

STAFF: The staff is headed by Broadway Gymnastic School Owners and Directors, Michael & Mary Cates and Facilities Manager & Camp Supervisor J.T. Moyé. Camp programs designed by the Cates are applauded by parents for the educational benefits, safety standards and enjoyment their children receive during the program. J.T. has been an integral part of the Camp program for many years, he has a B.F.A. in Acting from the University of Connecticut and has had an accomplished career in the Theatre on Broadway.

Camp staff have backgrounds in child development, physical education, psychology and recreation as well as gymnastics. All staff are first aid & USAG certified. Broadway’s first rate staff & our commitment to our students makes certain all campers get the most out of each day!

COMPETITIVE TRAINING: An innovative summer training program has been designed for our pre-competitive and competitive gymnasts. World-class coaches train boys and girls for all levels of competition. Videotaping, dance and gymnastic related outings are planned for enrichment and cross training. We welcome competitive gymnasts who are vacationing in Los Angeles to join us.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We created our Coach in Training (CIT) program for children ages 10-15 years as a way to transition older campers. It is an excellent opportunity for campers to gain valuable work experience and foster responsibility.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Our spectacular gymnastics and sports camp incorporates exercise and education into a fun-filled day program. Gymnastics paired with other sports as well as art, drama, fieldtrips, and swimming ensures children will get the most out of each day. Camp begins at 9am and is filled with an exciting array of activities to captivate all ages until the camper goes home at 12:30 or 3pm. We offer flexible scheduling as well as before (8am-9am) and aftercare (3pm-5:30pm) for youth campers.
