Many of our Band Camps will be hosting Spring Reunions for their previous campers, and Spring Open Houses for interested new campers and families. Each camp is different, and some offer activities for the entire family.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Morrison Center Summer Performance Camp is designed for students entering 3rd through 12th grade. Each camp is 6 days and includes 2 performances. There are roles for all age, skill and experience levels. Campers will experiences acting, singing, dancing, confidence building, and making new friends. CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Musical Theater, Theater, Dance, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Located on the Boise State University campus, the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts offers four separate weeks of Summer Performance Camps for student who love musical theatre. Learn to sing, dance and act while making new friends and building confidence. Students will create and perform a fully staged musical for three shows in the Danny Peterson Theatre at the end of each camp week.

CAMP FACILITIES: Located on the banks of the beautiful Boise River, the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts offers world class performance venues, rehearsal and classroom facilities, and easy access to downtown Boise and the greater Treasure Valley.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students who are entering 3rd grade through 12th grade work together each week to learn and perform a fully staged musical for two separate performances. Students learn the basics of acting, singing and dancing while also participating in camp related activities such as arts and crafts classes.

Be sure to ask each Idaho Band Camp about the amount of band instruction and the overall intensity of their band program.
Some Top Idaho Band Camps offer rigorous daily band training and lots of intensive band experience. Other great Idaho Camps offer band as an elective or recreational activity with much less training and intensity.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each student will participate in:
• A large ensemble—which will workshop and give the world premiere of a new work by one of the mentor composers
• A small ensemble—which will co-create, rehearse, and premiere new work(s) by the student participants
• A small home group—which will feature games and social activities
• (Optional) Two, hour-long private composition les- sons—which will give students professional feedback on their music and personalized instruction
• A final, virtual concert—on Friday, July 31, 2 PM EDT
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We desire to make it possible for everyone who wants to join us to be able to participate regardless of family finances. We have a limited amount of funds available. Please email for more information.
